Communication is essential for building relationships, sharing ideas, and solving problems,but it can also be abused in several ways when people misuse it intentionally or carelessly.
Here are some common ways people abuse communication:
1. Spreading False Information (Misinformation & Lies)
People may deliberately give wrong information to deceive others, protect themselves, or manipulate situations.
2. Gossiping and Rumor-Mongering
Sharing unverified or private information about others can damage reputations and break trust.
3. Verbal Abuse
Using harsh, insulting, or threatening language to hurt someone emotionally or control them.
4. Manipulation
Twisting words, hiding the truth, or using emotional pressure to influence others for personal gain.
5. Over-communication or Noise
Talking too much, interrupting others, or sharing unnecessary information can confuse people and reduce understanding.
6. Lack of Listening
Communication is two-way. Ignoring others, interrupting, or refusing to listen is also a form of abuse.
7. Misuse of Digital Communication
Cyberbullying, trolling, and spreading hate on social media platforms are modern forms of abusing communication.

Another way we abuse communication, is when people uses their little knowledge they have about the world of computing to steal or rob others of their fortune and riches which result in the increases the rate of social vices in the community.Thirdly, we abuse communication when we use social media platforms to pass insults to people we know or barely know.

Communication can also be abused when noise are made either with phone, speaker etc to disturb people.Communication is very essential in building relationships and in organizations.
